The Most Important Ingredient of Therapeutic Gain is Homework – Just Do It!

Strive to practice, practice, and practice some more REBT attitudes every day. Homework is the most important ingredient to therapeutic success. At my site you can, at no cost, read about and learn REBT in different ways. You can listen to REBT audio and watch REBT video on the general theory and practice of REBT. You can watch video on how to ovecome your self-defeating anger as well. Another great way to learn REBT is to read Dr. Ellis’s the book How to Make Yourself Happy & Remarkably Less Disturbable. If you are a patient of mine you can also review the REBT attitude cards I give to you at each session, and read previously written blogs: http://rebtdoctor.com/blog-self-help-posts-on-rebt.html Finally, you can practice Rational Emotive Imagery (download instructions below).

REBT works if YOU learn AND work it! Do the practice you find the least aversive. Any form of practice is better than no practice. Invest a few minutes in your skills today.
