Four Proposed New Year’s Resolutions for 2023

It is customary to reflect upon the past year and chart a course for the year ahead. I suggest you consider the below four resolutions as you plan for 2023:

1. A commitment to deepening your unconditional self-acceptance and learning how to do things better, not perfectly.

2. A commitment to furthering your unconditional other-acceptance while striving to display assertive behavior, not aggressive behavior, when doing so is in your long-term best interest.

3. A commitment to enhancing your unconditional acceptance of life while striving to change what can be changed and having some happiness while attempting to improve things.

4. A commitment to calculated risk-taking and experimenting with vitally absorbing interests to increase life satisfaction and personal meaning. Keep adventuring!

I hope to see you on New Year’s Eve for another REBT demonstration, followed by questions, comments, and criticisms. It will be at its usual time in your part of the world despite the fact I will be in Hawaii.

I wish you all the best life has to offer in 2023.
